I've led a diverse background of management roles within the Military, Hotel Security, Materials Purchasing, and Carrier Procurement that have honed my skills as a leader. These experiences built a versatile foundation covering both Sales and Operations with a strength which lay in my creative perspective.
Born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, I had a sense of adventure. This led me to enlist in the United States Army, following in the footsteps of my half-brother, father, and grandfather.
From my time as a overactive child through my time as a Senior Sales Manager, I was fortunate to learn from an extraordinary pedigree of leaders to draw my style on. The common factor among all of them was creating a competitive atmosphere, where effort-in is reward-out, may not be enough. The logistics industry shows your true weaknesses and if someone else was better than you, you had to work that much harder through identity, work ethic and creativity.
I created CWR Solutions to share this experience with others. As technology improves our quality of life, we can use that time to focus on our personal goals. Whether you want to be the top seller, most reliable, team lead, gritty closer, glue guy, or just focus more on being better in your personal life; each of these have their own attributes. Cultivating the weaknesses through goals and continuing to challenge the strengths, has been the recipe to my success as a leader.
In my spare time, I enjoy trail cycling, teaching myself something new, savoring scotch neat and chasing the dream of turning my great golf swing into a great golf game. I now call Wheaton, Illinois home, where I live with my wife Julie and our Rottweiler, Ares.
